Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
“Behind-the-scenes”. In order to get your purchase(s) to you as quickly as possible, The Dancing Pig, LLC, employs an order fulfillment service to process most orders. When you commit to a purchase, information about your order is INSTANTLY transmitted to the fulfillment service, which works with the appropriate supplier(s) who have agreed to expedite filling, packing and shipping your purchase(s). While serving us well in getting goods to you quickly, the speed of the process does affect the rare cancellation or return:
Order cancellations
The simplest way to cancel an order is to refuse the delivery (either at the time of an attempted delivery or with the delivery service as soon as they are identified and you are provided with a tracking number). The package will be returned directly to our supplier. Once accepted by the supplier a refund is processed. If you are unable to refuse delivery (for example your package is left at your door), we suggest you hold the unopened package and follow the instructions below for "starting a return".
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The delivery system must show your item has been “delivered”.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), intimate products and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Gift certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If an item is damaged, a photograph is NOT required but DOES help us in dealing with the supplier on your behalf.
To start a return, please contact us at at Support@TheDancingPig.net. We will immediately contact the supplier through our Fulfillment agent.
Once approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. UNLESS REQUESTED TO DO SO, DO NOT SEND ITEMS DIRECTLY TO THE DANCING PIG, LLC. Items sent to The Dancing Pig, LLC, without authorization will not be accepted or acknowledged and may be destroyed or donated. Processing of returns can take up to 3 weeks.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at Support@TheDancingPig.net.
A personal note from the owner:
There is a lot of “legalese” here. Unfortunately, it is necessary. The Dancing Pig, LLC, will “do the right thing” as we see it. We recognize that reputation is everything, and we sincerely want our customers to be thrilled with their experience with us. If you’re happy, you will return to our store and tell other folks. If a glitch happens, we will do everything we can to make things right as quickly as possible. Please understand some parts of the process are out of our control. Our suppliers charge 15 to 20% processing fees for returns and our Fulfillment Agent will not issue refunds for merchandise under $10. As a courtesy, we absorb these costs for you.
